Last month I was at the California Hospital Association for Disaster Preparedness Conference (actually, a great event), and had the opportunity to speak with a gentleman in a wheelchair about enGauge and introduce our products. I didn’t put any particular emphasis on the discussion until he came back to our booth at the end of the show and said, “Thank you for your products. I can’t tell you how important they are to me”.
RTLS, or Real Time Location Systems, are combined hardware / software systems that are used to automatically identify the location of objects or people inside of buildings.
Typically, RTLS systems are used within contained areas to keep track of where every asset of interest is at any given time. The goal of using a system like this is to constantly know the location (and in some instances, the state) of the various assets you need to track.

Medical oxygen is a vital component of quality healthcare in the United States and around the world with tens of thousands of people a day relying on it in emergencies and for quality-of-life. With such extensive usage and resultant inconsistent processes, managing medical oxygen is a substantial and costly challenge for every healthcare operator - from hospitals to assisted living facilities and hospice providers. Electronic monitoring and tracking of medical oxygen allows healthcare businesses to substantially improve their internal processes, enhance patient care, lower risk and reduce costs. But what is electronic medical oxygen monitoring?
