A Wide Spread Problem

Fake fire extinguisher inspectors scaming building owners, building owners falseifying inspections and inspectors not doing their jobs are problems that have to stop

It is surprising how many stories of fraudulant fire extinguisher show up in the news every year and at the same time it is amazing how easy it is to find fire extinguisher inspection tags filled out fraudulently.  Finding fire extinguisher tags filled out with the same pattern of dates in the same pen is more common than you might think.  

Falsifying fire extinguisher inspection records is a violation of:

  • NFPA & ICC
  • Americans with Disabilties Act
  • Joint Commission
  • OSHA
  • Centers for Medicare and Medicade

Falsifying fire extinguisher records is bad news for two security offices in Onondaga New York.  Fire extinguisher tags filled in falesly can be found all over the country, in hospitals, retail stores, hotels and more.
