Five portables were damaged. Windows were broken and blue, orange and brown paint was thrown around the classrooms and over blackboards. In one portable, the fire extinguisher was set off and the window screens were damaged. Police say the paint wasn't from spray cans and it appears the paint was thrown about using jars or containers. The school has been hit a number of times since a wave of vandalism started this spring in the village.

Three juveniles arrested for vandalizing Ringgold Middle School go to court. Because they're minors, we can't show you their faces but they were led in shackles into the court room this afternoon.
Surveillance video shows three boys trashing the school early yesterday morning. They made no effort to conceal their identities and were clearly seen on tape.
Inside the building, they sprayed fire extinguishers everywhere, leaving a thick film, and footprints everywhere. Outside, they slashed 10 tires on school buses.

Tucson Police say two 17-year-olds have been arrested, accused of vandalizing the building where members of Iglesia de Cristo and Mercy's Gate Worship.
Police say that the teens almost got away Thursday night, but for the watchful eyes of congregants.
Food was smeared on the countertops. Gang graffiti and swear words were painted on the walls, and several computers were smashed.
Police say the suspects used fire extinguishers to break out windows and bust in doors, then used the contents to spray inside the rooms.

Sag Harbor, NY
Teenagers were arrested in Sag Harbor after police were called and found them throwing fire extinguishers out the window of the abandoned Bulova Watch Case Factory Building in town. When the teenagers were caught police found a bag of marijuana on one of them and a butterfly knife in the pocket of another. After searching the car that they were using, they found 21 cans of spray paint.
I’m sure that this is all just a big misunderstanding and these teenagers were just expressing themselves in a violent/artistic way. At least somebody has put to use the Bulova Watch Case Factory building.

As sheriff’s deputies rushed into the Kitsap Sun Pavilion early June 14, they spotted two teens carrying silver-colored pipes and spraying a fire extinguisher.
The deputies had followed a path of damage, passing countless broken windows and shards of glass, smoking electrical boxes, torn-up lights and ceiling tiles, when they came upon the pair.
When they placed one of the suspects, a 14-year-old from Spokane, into handcuffs, the boy said, "We’re just having some fun. What’s the big deal?"
Several incidents of vandalism at community gathering places this spring and summer — the fairgrounds, Clear Creek Trail, the Sylvan Way branch of Kitsap Regional Library among them — have apparently been perpetrated by those with a similar apathetic attitude.
Walkersville Maryland
State Police plan to charge four teens from Walkersville for vandalizing two concession stands operated by the Glade Valley Athletic Association.
Police were led to the four teens by an anonymous tip, said Trooper Marty Speak. That person will receive the $2,000 reward offered by the association and the town of Walkersville.
Two of the boys are 17, and the other is 16, Trooper Speak said. A second 16-year-old was identified as vandalizing association property over the past year, but was not involved in the two concession stand incidents, police said.
Their identities were not released because of their ages, police said.
Police are waiting to file charges pending consultation with the Frederick County State Attorney's Office, Trooper Speak said.
On July 10 and 11, police responded to calls about destruction of property at the two concession stands, said First Sgt. Chris Sasse. One of the stands was at Heritage Farm Park; the other was at a field near Frederick Street behind the Walkersville Volunteer Ambulance Company building.
Coca-Cola machines were pushed over, merchandise was destroyed, and furniture was thrown around, Sgt. Sasse said. Damage was estimated in the hundreds or possibly thousands of dollars.
While looking into these incidents, criminal investigators discovered three of the teens had been involved in other crimes on the same day, Trooper Speak said.
